COVID-19 Update - Fall 2020 Study Abroad/Exchange Program

We are hopeful that most fall study abroad and exchange programs will run as planned, and are proceeding as such. However, fall programming will depend on several factors, including the removal of the current Rensselaer travel ban, the removal of current national health and travel restrictions, the complete reopening of our partner institutions abroad, and the ability of our students to obtain immigration documentation. One of our exchange partners has already suspended their fall exchange (NTU Singapore), and it is possible that other institutions may follow. Given the current uncertainties, we ask that all students identify a backup opportunity for the fall semester. Students who wish to apply for spring 2021 study abroad/exchange may do so via the Study Abroad Application Portal after May 1. Please click here to begin a spring application.
